To all Members,
With hunting season starting soon, a few reminders for a safe season with no issues. In the past there were some issues with the property lines. We do not want any additional issues. It is the hunter’s responsibility to know where they are. Hunt only on Bethlehem Property. Respect the boundaries. Do not cross onto another property without express permission. Do not shoot across the property lines. Be respectful, good hunters. And always look beyond the target- be safe. All stands are supposed to be marked with your name, badge number and phone number. Remember to sign in and out- it is a safety thing; in case someone has an issue or is missing. Stands are supposed to taken down after the season by December 31st. Have fun, good hunting and good luck.
Thank You. The Board of Directors.
“Reminder!! The Pheasant Lease is closed until 12/10/22 -the next stocking. We are not allowed to hunt as the farmer and family deer hunt. Thank You and see you the 10th. Bob Bready” firstname.lastname@example.org
The Club has again leased a property for Pheasant Hunting in Montgomery. We have the use of the same farm as last year and appreciate the Farmer, Bill Hoekstra for sharing his land. The Farm is located on Hoekstra Rd in Montgomery NY. The schedule will be posted shortly, and we are planning another Youth Hunt in October. Stocking is usually Sat and some Sundays at 7AM. It is a lease, not a preserve, so we have to obey all NYS hunting regulations. You must have a NYS License, wear hunter orange and the daily limit is two pheasants per day. We will also stock chukar and there is a two chukar per day limit as well. We cannot, I repeat cannot hunt other game animals and please don’t ask the landowner. He is a nice guy, but our lease is for Pheasant and chukar only- no ducks, rabbits, deer, or turkey. We don’t pay for additional species, so can’t take them. If you have not hunted the property, please come out with a member who has or better yet, come stock and see the property first-hand, get some work hours and then hunt a little. Contact Bob Bready 845-883-5935 with questions and stay tuned for more info soon.
